 AVERNA AMARO
Averna's Amaro, with a uniquely delicate and balanced bittersweet taste, is still made today according to a recipe kept secret by the Averna family since its creation in 1868. Velvety and warm on the palate, it is an expression of the flavors and aromas of Sicily, where it originated. Made entirely of natural ingredients, Amaro Averna is a mix of herbs, roots and zests infused in pure alcohol. Then, the ingredients are chopped, minced, or ground into powder to fully release their natural flavors and aromas.
Averna's Amaro is generally served chilled or on ice as an after dinner drink, but it is also wonderful in cocktails. The alcohol content is 32%.
SAMBUCA 100% ANICE STELLATO
Star Anis, a delightful spice, is widely used in Chinese and Indian cuisine and beverages, is found on evergreen trees in southwest China. Averna Sambuca 100% Anis Star has a delightfully fresh taste due in part to its unique blend of this special anise and other spices. In a blind consumer taste test recently conducted in Italy, Averna Sambuca was ranked first in the best 'perfume' and taste category. Sambuca is typically served chilled or over ice as a 'digestivo.' The alcohol content is 42%.
