Caffo, a family-owned company in the Southern Italian region of Calabria, creates a wide range of after dinner spirits including Limoncino, Grappa's, and various liqueurs.
Founded by Giuseppe Caffo in 1915 he created spirits using ancient Calabrian recipes, native aromatic fruits and medicinal herbs. Now at its forth generation, Caffo - led by Sebastiano Caffo with his strong heritage and a brand new state of the art distillery - produces a wide range of fine Italian liqueurs and spirits including Amaretto, Caffucino, and Limoncino.
DEL CAPO AMARO
Caffo's Del Capo Amaro, is based on an ancient Caffo family recipe, is an infusion of twenty-nine aromatic herbs , spices and roots grown in the Calabria region of Italy. All the flavors and colors in
this extraordinary product are 100% all natural. It has a distinctive flavor and an unmistakable
bouquet. It is best served at icy cold, 5 degrees F, or over ice. It has a 35% alcohol content.
CAFFUCCINO
Caffuccino has a delicate cappuccino taste with a velvety smooth mouth feel. This 100% all-natural liqueur is based on the classic cappuccino recipe, which the Cappuccini Friars created centuries ago. Caffuccino's alcohol content is 17%. It is best served chilled at about 46 degrees F.
GRAPPA DI GRECO
It is a pure grappa distilled from select grapes of ancient Greek origin. Unlike many other grappa, Grappa di Greco, is sweetly aromatic with a melody of spice and fruit flavors. Calabria, home to Caffo's fine spirits, has historically been known as "Magna Grecia", little Greece, because of its early ancient Greek influences. Grappa di Greco is an ode to these ancient Greek roots. It has a 42% alcohol content and is best served at approximately 60 degrees F.
SAMBUCA SECOLARE
Distilled and produced from elderberry fruit and anise spices, this product is made according to a Caffo family traditional recipe. Sambuca Secolare sports a new bottle and label for 2010. Flavor and color are 100% natural. Alcohol content is 42%, 84 proof.
SOLARA TRIPLE GRAND ORANGE LIQUEUR
This is the newest member of the Caffo family of liqueurs. It made with aged brandy and then infused with spices and three distinct types of Italian grown oranges--- Amara Selvatica, Dolce Comune and Tarocco, an orange grown in Calabria. Solara adds dazzle to many classic cocktails including Margaritas and Cosmos. It's wonderful straight on the rocks or poured over ice cream. Solara is 40% by volume. 80 proof.
LIMONCINO DELL 'ISOLA {LEMONCELLO}
Made from the exquisite special lemons grown in Calabria, Limoncino has a smooth and intense flavor. Caffo Limoncino, 100% natural in color and taste, is wonderful straight or can be used to make extraordinarily delicious cocktails. Caffo Limoncino, 30% alcohol, 60 proof.
ANISETTE di CALABRIA
Produced from the finest Black Calabrian Anise, this is the very first distilled product produced by Giuseppe Caffo back in 1915. This 100% natural exceptional spirit is 30% alcohol by volume, 60 proof.
