 Tuscan Bakers since 1921
For four generations the Corsini family has baked some of Tuscany's finest sweets. The story begins in 1921 with great-grandfather, Corrado, who although only in his twenties was already the most famous baker of Mont Amiata's Casteldelpiano, a picturesque town that overlooks Tuscany's beautiful Maremma region. Ubaldo, one of Corrado's sons, fell in love with the family art and even as a child began learning his father's secrets and the magic of ancient baking techniques. As the years went by, the Corsini family began baking not just breads, but also delicious biscuits, cookies, and cakes in the Tuscan tradition.
Since then the family art passed from father to son. Over time the size of the company has changed, but not the important essentials. The location of the company and company's philosophies has remained steadfast. The Corsini love of quality, accuracy in the choice of ingredients, reverence for the rules of each processing stage, and dedication are all values the family has firmly held onto. The magic of that ancient kiln is still witness to a unique art of baking, dedicated to those who love authentic Tuscan flavors.
