Intense Chocolate Mini Lava Cake

Serves 6

This is the one recipe you must try to really appreciate just how delicious fine Italian chocolate is! Plus you only need 5 ingredients and 10 minutes to bake them.

Dessert doesn't get much better than this---oozy, rich, fudgy chocolate in the center and a dense, moist cake around it.

8 tablespoons, 1 stick, unsalted butter, plus more for ramekins
3 large eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup flour
6 ounces Venchi Pure Chocolate Blend 75%

Butter six 1/2-cup size ramekins. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Then beat in the flour.

Melt the Venchi Pure Chocolate Blend 75% and butter in the microwave or over a double boiler and then beat it into the egg mixture.

Divide the batter between the ramekins. Put the ramekins onto a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Turn upside down onto a serving plate. Garnish with whipped cream and fresh fruit, if you like
