Amaretti Baked Apples

Just as deliciously satisfying as American apple pie but much, much easier to make thanks to yummy Italian amaretti cookies.
6 baking apples
1 cup of crushed amaretti cookies, about 20 amaretti
1/2 cup Asti Spumante docg
6 teaspoons butter
Core apples. Place in baking dish. Spoon the amaretti into the apples and pour the Asti Spumante docg over the apples and top each with a pat of butter.
Bake in 375 degree F oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until the apples are soft.
