Serves 6
1 baguette
4 ounces Venchi 75% dark chocolate, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon whole milk
6 ounces gorgonzola or blue cheese, at room temperature
2 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced
White pepper
Crushed hazelnuts, optional
Cut about 12 thin slices from the baguette and toast them under the broiler or in a toaster until golden.

Melt the Venchi 75% dark chocolate and milk in a small bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler.

Arrange the bread on a serving platter. Top the bread with the gorgonzola, 2 slices of pear, and a pinch of pepper.

When ready to serve, drizzle on the chocolate and top with hazelnuts and grated chocolate, if you like
